EXPERT Ultrasound and Anatomy Injection
Course for Botulinum Toxin Treatment
Meeting rationale: The management of upper limb spasticity and sialorrhea requires experience and skills in a range of practical aspects. To ensure safe usage and optimal treatment response with botulinum toxin therapy, target structures must be correctly localized and injected.
The objective of this meeting is to reinforce anatomical knowledge and foster the use of ultrasound as a guiding technique for injections. Ideally, the acquired knowledge will lead to an improvement in patient care.
This practical workshop will provide the opportunity for a small group to improve their ultrasound technique skills and foster their anatomy knowledge which ultimately improves the safe use of botulinum toxin. The program will cover anatomical, ultrasound and injection training on shoulder and upper limb as well as salivary Glands.
We are looking forward to see you in Lübeck.
