We are extremely pleased to welcome you to an interactive course of anatomy and sonography at the Anatomical Institute of the University of Munich.
EXPERT Upper Limb Anatomy
Injection course for botulinum toxin treatment
Meeting rationale:
The effective management of upper limb spasticity and sialorrhea demands both clinical experience and proficiency in a range of practical techniques. To ensure the safe and effective use of botulinum toxin therapy, accurate localization and injection of target structures are essential.
This meeting aims to promote the use of ultrasound as a guiding technique for injections. By strengthening anatomical knowledge and refining ultrasound skills, participants will be better equipped to enhance patient outcomes and safety in clinical practice. This hands-on workshop offers a unique opportunity for a small group of participants to deepen their understanding of relevant anatomy and improve their ultrasound-guided injection techniques. The program will include focused anatomical training on shoulder and upper limb muscles, as well as salivary glands.
We are looking forward to see you in Munich.
