EXPERT Anatomy and Ultrasound course
Head and Neck

Meeting rationale: The management of cervical dystonia as well as sialorrhea requires experience and skills in a range of practical aspects. To ensure an optimal treatment response with botulinum toxin therapy, the knowledge of respective anatomical structures is essential. Further, it is important that targeted structures are correctly localized and injected.

The objective of this meeting is to refresh anatomical knowledge and foster the use of ultrasound as guiding techniques for injections and to practice ultrasound usage in small groups. Ideally, the acquired knowledge will lead to an optimal treatment with BoNT and improve patient care.
